Our new puppy

We got the cutest puppy in the whole world this weekend! We had a hard time picking out his name but settled on Logan. I'll have better pictures soon but I wanted to introduce you to our new pup....

This is when he first arrived Friday night.


















He is almost 9 weeks old, he's a Collie Australian sheppard mix, and he is a hand full. Holy cow raising a puppy is HARD! Thank goodness my friend Janet loaned us books on puppies and is so knowledgeable about animals.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going to his sisters and I love his family! They have been so nice from the moment we met. Then on Sunday we are going to my mom and dads for dinner. It's going to be a very relaxed weekend. Did I say I am really looking forward to this Thanksgiving!

Onto things I am thankful for....

My family (my mom and dad are the best!) they have been so supportive of my career and it has been a tough road to get where I am. They have always been loving, supportive, and are there for me at all times.

I am thankful for my awesome boyfriend..who is also very supportive and puts up with me showing him every picture that I think is the best picture EVAR!

I am so thankful for my job and wonderful couples! I have to give a shout out to all my knotties! Thanks to you as well! Love all you gals!

I also have to say I am thankful for my new found friends EJ and Janet. I could list the ways they have supported me and I am sure the modest guy that EJ is would like to me list all those things.... hehe

A shotgun, tractor, and pitch fork

When I met with Elizabeth she told me that they had an old tractor that she wanted a picture in front of. She explained that on the day that it arrived her grandfather proposed to her grandmother so it was really important.

During the formals before the ceremony her dad and others kept joking about a shotgun....long story short I said I needed that and well you'll see....

Oh and by the way it was raining and not on the sprinkling side of raining....

This is one of my fav's! They had an engagement picture that was very similar and I wanted to do the same with them in their wedding clothes.













I know that I say this all the time but seriously this was an awesome wedding! So, much fun! I am going to post again about them b/c there is another really funny (outrageous) thing that happened.

Fun at Berry College

I so totally love this location! It was 2 or so hours away .....but....it was totally worth it! I felt like a kid at a candy store...where should I shoot first, the arches, the wall, by that cool door and oh the light is so good here and there and over there! Seriously I felt so silly in front of Colleen and Grant....I was so giddy about the cool campus!

Pete and Angela

Angela and Pete got married at the State Botanical gardens... I totally love it there.

I seriously don't know where to start or what to show..... it was such an emotional day and I have so many images that I love.

hmmm..... Well you know I love shoes so let's start there.



















I thought it might be symbolic of who they are to put their rings in a earth spot.


















One of Angelas friends drove 8 or so hours to be at the wedding for a couple of hours and then had to drive back home to be at work at 6 am. I really like this the best out of the ones Lauren and I took. It's not the obvious emotion... a hug, wiping tears away but a moment in time....true raw emotion.

We were done taking pictures at this spot and I went to get my gear and turned around for a sec and saw them standing there. I was like wha? You're doing what without me looking?

Bill and Erins excellent reception adventure!

Bill and Erins wedding was on October 14th (yes I am a little behind) It was a great fall day and amazing outside!

I am going to have to skip the whole day and go straight to the reception and there will actually be 2 posts ........


They had their reception at Atlanta Womens Club in Atlanta..and I totally love this venue!














The evening began with Erins dad introducing them.



















Lauren was upstairs with them and got this cool shot of Erin before they came down the stairs.

































Apparently Bill really likes Morrissey (I do to..and who doesn't ok I don't know a lot of people who do) anyway...Erin had asked the band to play I am the Sun I am the Air.

I love this look on Bills face ....you did wha? are you serious?

Hello hello...

It's getting kind of chilly outside isn't it? My wedding last Saturday had PERFECT weather! I think it was like 74 75?

So, I never posted the fun pictures from Sarah and Tim's wedding....



















The best man was a really great dancer and danced almost every song! Now I am not saying everyone else wasn't a good dancer... :)

Rainy Days

What do you like to do on rainy days? I like to listen to Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson (yes I really like him) and a little house (dance music). I know what your thinking.... um that's two different genre. But, ya know that's just the kinda gal I am.

Oh, and I love processing wedding pictures! Which brings me to the post....

Sarah and Tims wedding was at the Houston Mill House and it was an awesome venue!




I took this while sarah was getting dressed.


















The guys actually got ready at the venue so I got to photograph them getting ready...it was way cool! I really like this one of him getting his cufflinks on.







As we were doing the guys formals one of them spotted the liquor cellar and suggested we take pictures in there. Thanks to the best man we got in and got a few shots. It was REALLY small in there!













So, I got all these cool actions (photoshop stuff) and was playing around with one of them and came up with this. LOVE IT!
