Alicia and Rocky

They are such a cute couple and I had a great time at their wedding!

I love manipulating photos so I thought I would start by showing one of her dress.

The way cute Alicia...

We had some extra time for formals which by the way was awesome. So we went into downtown Athens. Here are some of my fav's.

Okay so I normally don't show this many formals but I had extra time to do them and got some neat images. ...well I like them :)

All in all it was a great day except when I fell off the curb...have I mentioned how clumsy I am?

Oh and I loved her cake topper...how cute is this?

Melissa And Eric warning LONG post

I have to say that this has been one of the most emotional weddings for me. There was so much laughter and joy. I'll show you a few of my fav's of them getting ready.

While I was with the gals EJ with Blue World Studios was hanging out with the guys and got some really fun images. As Melissa was getting ready we kept hearing outbursts of laughter. It was so awesome!

Some of my fav's while she was getting ready....don't ya' love her dress!

Ok so this is the point where I started to get a little emotional. I turn around to get a shot of Eric as Melissa is coming down the isle....I tear up after seeing him and think ok ok gotta shoot can't get emotional....ok I'm ok

And then a little more emotion....

and a little more..ok well now my eyes are really swelling up with tears.

Little did I know that I would be just as emotional processing the images. I seriously can't look at these images without tearing up.

Again the gorgeous Melissa and her dress!

So on to the fun! I LOVE LOVED riding in the stretch hummer with them and the wedding party! Ok so be prepared for a lot of images. It was really hard to narrow them down.

ok one more....

I'll leave you with these last two images.

These last two images were lit by EJ (I think anyone that knows me knows them and vise versa) hehe. Anyway he offered to go along with me and be my "light guy" he was so great and I am SO glad he went with me! Now if only I could clone him hmmmmm......

David and Jeannine

Well Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! I started out the new year with an awesome wedding and couple!

I'll start with one of my favorite preparation shots. Jeannine had just arrived and they were talking about her dress.

The ring bearer was not so happy about getting dressed but.....

what... M&M's ...ok

They got married at one of their friends home (which was gorgeous) and they had a pool table. They didn't end up playing but some of the guests did. It was so fun to photograph!

Melissa and Eric

Their engagement session was last Sunday and it was a ton of fun! Because there was a like 100% chance of rain Melissa came up with the idea to take the pictures at Fernbank. I loved the opportunity to shoot somewhere new!

Look how cute they are!

The rain had stopped for a while so we went outside for some pictures. So here they are just being cute....

And then Eric gets a little silly and decides to do do a "hey what's that?" pointing shot

It ended up being a way cute idea that got them laughing!

Love this way cool red wall!

Happy New Year!

We did not go anywhere but were able to see a lot of fireworks from our back porch. I don't know who was setting them off but, they were great! I am proud to say that Logan (new puppy) was nervous at first but then was fine and watched them with us. He's a good puppy!

I am really looking forward to next year! I have a lot of great couples I get to work with AND get to plan my own wedding! WOOHOO!

I wish you guys the best and happy new year!

Jeff and Kaylas wedding

First I have to say that I love Kayla and Jeff! Kayla has become a friend and shes such a fab (used that word for Kayla) person!

For my other couples you know I love you guys too...don't worry :)

I think that I am going to have to do several posts so here's the first. I love this picture Janet took. Kayla stood there for like 3 seconds and Janet was on it and got this gorgeous image!

I loved her shoes and ya know I love taking pictures of them!

Her something blue was this perfume bottle isn't that a cool idea!

This has got to be my favorite series. Kayla had a seen a picture that I took a while back of the bride and groom talking before the ceremony. I was so excited to be a part of this magical moment they were so cute!

Jeff didn't quite understand what were doing and then he got it.

Our new puppy

We got the cutest puppy in the whole world this weekend! We had a hard time picking out his name but settled on Logan. I'll have better pictures soon but I wanted to introduce you to our new pup....

This is when he first arrived Friday night.

He is almost 9 weeks old, he's a Collie Australian sheppard mix, and he is a hand full. Holy cow raising a puppy is HARD! Thank goodness my friend Janet loaned us books on puppies and is so knowledgeable about animals.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going to his sisters and I love his family! They have been so nice from the moment we met. Then on Sunday we are going to my mom and dads for dinner. It's going to be a very relaxed weekend. Did I say I am really looking forward to this Thanksgiving!

Onto things I am thankful for....

My family (my mom and dad are the best!) they have been so supportive of my career and it has been a tough road to get where I am. They have always been loving, supportive, and are there for me at all times.

I am thankful for my awesome boyfriend..who is also very supportive and puts up with me showing him every picture that I think is the best picture EVAR!

I am so thankful for my job and wonderful couples! I have to give a shout out to all my knotties! Thanks to you as well! Love all you gals!

I also have to say I am thankful for my new found friends EJ and Janet. I could list the ways they have supported me and I am sure the modest guy that EJ is would like to me list all those things.... hehe

So, what are you thankful for?

I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

A shotgun, tractor, and pitch fork

When I met with Elizabeth she told me that they had an old tractor that she wanted a picture in front of. She explained that on the day that it arrived her grandfather proposed to her grandmother so it was really important.

During the formals before the ceremony her dad and others kept joking about a shotgun....long story short I said I needed that and well you'll see....

Oh and by the way it was raining and not on the sprinkling side of raining....

This is when we were about to start taking the pictures. Love it!

this works I like it but....

can you go up on the tractor....Oh Yeah!

This is one of my fav's! They had an engagement picture that was very similar and I wanted to do the same with them in their wedding clothes.

I know that I say this all the time but seriously this was an awesome wedding! So, much fun! I am going to post again about them b/c there is another really funny (outrageous) thing that happened.
