One wedding, hoedown and a great couple

I had a request from one of my stalkers to update my blog. I do love my stalkers and they keep me in line.

I have wanted to post about Maria and Russells wedding for a while now. Their rehearsal dinner was a hoedown which by the way was very cool.

I'll start with that ....I love this shot ......she is totally all about I am driving this home.

One of her Aunts made this cake isn't it Fabulous!!!

The hoedown took place on Russells parents land. So we did a few pictures of them on the farm. By the way it was gorgeous!

This is one of those images you don't plan and was super happy I saw this. I got down low to take a picture of the flower girl getting her hair done and looked up at Maria and saw the glow from the light in the other room. I love it because it's a star shape and brides are totally stars on their wedding day.

Their wedding was outside and they were very back lit. I noticed shadows as everyone walked out and it was only the children that I thought looked perfect.

One of my all time favorite shots ever of a bride and groom walking down the isle.

I hardly ever show reception shots so starting today I am. This has to be one of my favorite garter pics.

These last three images are from their last dance. Can you feel the love ...not the song from Lion King but the newlywed love.

My first teaser and plug

I photographed the coolest wedding a few weeks ago. It was a French and American wedding. Instead of the wedding traditions that we are used to. They had skits, songs, and after they cut the cake the wedding party served the guests. I thought this was such a wonderful touch to the reception.

I love when couples see each other before the ceremony. We had extra time to do formals. Here are some of my fav's.

As we were walking down to this cool wall of evergreen trees we walked by this small opening and it was this hidden old broken down building. I HAD to get shots in there. I think everyone thought I was crazy and thought it was really great!

And this is the spot I asked her to climb through. Courtney took this shot.

I love this shot of them at the reception. I'll show more of the reception later it was a fabulous.

So on to the plug.....Fox 5 news has a best of/what's hot in Atlanta and they have a wedding section. It just so happens that I am listed and also my fabulous pals Blue World Studios. So that's the plug to vote us and other fabulous vendors such as Carla with On Occasions, Event Perfect, Lee Epting, Tamela with Southern Bouquets and other fabulous vendors!!!!!

Sweet Amber

I have wanted to post about Amber and Brandons wedding for forever! I have liked Amber from the moment I met her. She has been so sweet and amazing! Her wedding was way back on May 12th.

I really love the John Oliver Micheal House in Watkinsville. I've had a few weddings there and have a wedding there this Saturday.

Here' the fabulously sweet Amber!

And the fabulous Brandon. I hope he is okay with me calling him fabulous. :)

Okay, so I am sure if you'll recall the weekend in May where it was torrential rain well let's call it what it was.... a typhoon. It was storming to the right of us all afternoon but was not raining which was great b/c we got a lot of formals done before the wedding started. About 30 or so minutes before the ceremony began it started storming. I have never been so impressed with a bride before. She was so calm and was pretty happy. There are moments that will stick with me for forever as some of the most emotional moments and this is one of them. Her brother was so wonderful and came to the room where we were to console her. This was the only time that she teared up. The ceremony was very emotional and you could absolutely feel the love in the room. It was like a scene from a movie everything was so perfect despite the rain and all you could feel was love.

I have to talk about this fabulous cupcake cake. Every once in a while I will eat some cake if there's some left over. I can admit. The red velvet cupcakes were haunting me with their amazing smell!! I had to have one and OH MY GOSH it was so yummmmyyyy! I have to give a thanks to Amber for the yummiest cupcake I have ever had!

Despite the rain everyone ended up having a blast!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!

I totally think that Hillary is a fabulously funny gal! We laughed pretty much the whole day! I love Hillary .....and Frank is okay...I guess :)

I never ever thought that I would be a dog person. I have always had cats growing up and now that Mark and I have a dog apparently I LOVE dogs! Her dog was way cute!

BABAY feet.....how can you not love the baby feet.

What would a good post be if I didn't post shoes?

We had a little extra time to do some pictures of the two of them. These two are my favorites.

Ah, the day Chapel

So, I am not sure if you know this but I am getting married. It just so happens that I picked the same awesome venue as Frances and Greg! There are a lot of venues that I love but this one fit Mark and I the best. Anyway, enough about me let me show you some images from their fabulous wedding!

This is the Day chapel at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens. Isn't it so fantastic! I know I am a little biased.

I loved the back of her dress!

I have to show you her flowers they were so beautiful and different I loved them!

We had a little time after the wedding to go take some pictures of the two of them in Downtown Athens.

I just love this one! We found a little ally way and the light and the graffiti were awesome!

I thought this was so cute! Gregs last name is Hill.

Oh wait I forgot to post her shoes! uh huh I gotta post em! Okay, so my brides out the there please don't be offended but her shoes are the best! I seriously don't know how she even walked around in them!

Whitney And Jordon

So, I have fallen behind in posting about all the amazing, fabulous, wonderful couples I have photographed lately! Where do I start? Do I pick out my favs from all the weddings and put them in one post and by the way I have tried that but there are too many images..... toooo many! I also considered doing a cute one-liner post...for example shoes, details, formals....etc. So see this is my dilemma. Too many awesome couples .......what am I going to do? Well I'll tell ya! I am going to post about each fabulous couple! yes some well most of them got married back in April but it's never too late to post right?

Okay so I am going to start with Whitney and Jordon's Wedding. Their wedding was at the John Oliver Micheal House and as always it's fantastic there.

I'll start with shoes yes shoes. I loved her shoes b/c they tied at the ankle. How way cute is that?

Do remember that super cold freezing weekend in April? It was on their weekend and it was an outdoor wedding. I must say that Whitney was amazing and did not let the weather get her down! Look at how happy she is!!!

Here are the guys lookin' cool but not cold.

They seriously had so much and have I mentioned how I LOVE tents! The light is fantastic!
