The Brooks family

The Brooks family is one of my favorite families to photograph! Bo is so cute and loves trains! So, we went to downtown Conyers. 

I absolutely love his overalls and hat!

Josh and Danielle are super cute! We had so much during their engagement session.  If you know me well you know I love dogs. They brought their dog along and he was a sweetie!

Courtney and Chris married at the Georgian Terrace

I absolutely loved photographing Courtney and Chris. You could see and feel the love that they have for each other! 

As we were walking to take formals I was lucky enough to be behind the flowers girls when I saw them reach out to hold hands.

I absolutely love this photo. We had just finished taking formal photos and I looked back as I was walking to the reception and captured this moment. This is the love I was referencing!

Shanna and Daryl are having a baby!

Two of my favorite people are having a baby! I have known them for several years and they are such great friends. They are the kind of people that would drop most anything to come and help. Steve and I feel lucky to have them as friends!

They wanted to announce (to their friends) she was pregnant by taking a few photos and posting them on facebook. Here are some of my faves! 

I love this one because Nala (pup on the left) is so goofy and this shows off how silly she is... 

Updated new blog!

I am so excited to have a new look to my blog and show some of my old work from waaayyy back in 2006! Yes, that's right 2006. I hope you enjoy reading about my journey as a wedding photographer. It has been so fun to look back and relive memories. It's neat to see how many of these couples have had children and I have had the privilege of photographing their family! I am going to be posting a lot.. I have lots to catch up on! My last post on this blog was in 2009. I won't be posting from then but it will be some new and older weddings. I'll start with a very recent wedding. It was at the lovely Barnsley Gardens.

Trisha and Jeff totally rock! We had a trash the "ebay" dress/day after session recently and it totally rocked!! First, I'm going to show you her dyi projects.

A chilly day

So, I'm working on Lindsey and John's wedding and I came across this image that Steve took. As one of my favorite brides started to shiver while I was photographing the guys. I thought "Self, Lindsey is cold. I have a jacket.. give her the jacket. And Steve ended up getting this super cute shot of her in my jacket watching us take formals.

Another sneak peak

Lindsey and John's wedding was on Oct 24th. It was absolutely elegant, gorgeous and perfect! We started out at St. Regis where the girls got ready and did a few formals before heading over to the Country Club.

I'll start with shoe…. Glorious shoes! ( and her dress! )





Lindsey was such a stunning bride! I heart St. Regis! It's the most amazing hotel ever!!







I have to admit I want to show so much it's hard to pick which ones to show! Fab details, formals, ceremony, more formals and the reception, more reception details! Whew. Lots o' good images!

They decided to see each other before the ceremony and this one of my faves!


And just one... sigh one formal! It was so hard to narrow it down to one.


The ceremony was great with details that are fab! I'll show them later. :)

Wedding Slideshow!

I am happy to show you my first wedding slideshow! Melanie and Jeff were awesome to photograph! They were even willing to get in the middle of Peachtree St. for some formals!! Have I mentioned I love my couples?
