Where did April go?

So, it seems like I just photographed Monique and Andy's wedding but, it was almost a month a go! It was a perfect day, with a perfect couple!

This was right after we were done with the formals and she was resting before the ceremony began.

This was one of the most memorable moments of the night and something I will remember for a long time. They were out on the dance floor dancing to a fast paced song and it was literally like the room stopped as they got close and then I heard her say that she loved him so much! Then they embraced each other and went about dancing with everyone.

I love the UGA campus!

I had an engagement session there a few weeks ago. Brandon and Amber were awesome to photograph! It was such a perfect day the light was great, and we found some fantastic locations to shoot in! It was so hard to pick just these images I loved all of them!

I love the way the wind is blowing Ambers hair!

Okay so this is one of my fav's. It has that feel of them just hanging out.

I have to admit as much as I love this pose I can't take credit for it.

Happiness

This a personal post..... This last week and half I had 7 portrait sessions with the best couples and brides and 3 amazing weddings. Last night was a special engagement session which brings me to why I wanted to post about such a personal subject.

I have been feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work I have had and was super worried about getting everything done on time. I also have realized that how can I possibly complain, fret, and stress about being successful? A few weeks ago I was at a restaurant after a engagament session and had this flash back of being a server. I remembered that I was in that same situation not that long ago and craved to be a wedding photographer. I thought about it every day and pretty much every moment. I am so overjoyed that I made it...me How did this happen....

I got a phone call this week from a brides friend. She said that she had to call to just tell me what a great job I had done. Okay so um yeah I was a little choked up needless to say. It's still hard for me to accept compliments. I know that sounds silly but it's true. Okay I have to admit sometimes I say I rock. hehe

I just wanted to take this time to say that I am so thankful for all of you and for bringing such happiness into my life. Now back to work :)

Oh and keep an eye out for Janet's and I big announcement!!!!!!

Oh and double oh here are a couple pic's of our pup. He's 7 months now!

Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning! I hope you guys had a good weekend I did. It was a bit chilly though. I had a gorgeous wedding on Saturday and a great engagement session on Sunday.

A few weeks a ago I photographed Kendall and Terrances wedding. They got ready at the W hotel which is awesome by the way! Then the wedding was at Villa Christina.

I'll start off by showing you her great dress and shoes!

I love this picture of Kendall she looks like a movie star.

I love these next two... this is after Kendall put on her dress and her friends are seeing her for the first time.

I love the W hotel!!! How cool is this hallway!

After the ceremony her son was very emotional and I just happened to catch a few shots of them.

And more emotion during the toasts.

All I can is say that I LOVE my job and am so glad to be able to be part of such a happy and emotional day...... and seriously I have got to start bringing tissues!

This is one of my favourite posed pictures of the day.

Spring is here!

I had an engagement session at the Athens Botanical gardens a few weeks ago and it was GORGEOUS! I love spring!

I had a blast with Hillary and Frank. They have the same sense of humor as me so we pretty much laughed the whole session.

You know I love the cherry processing!

I love this picture. We went to this area because of this pretty tree with purple buds. I was concerned that it was going to back lit and it was but then I saw the awesome glow in her hair.

They are so way cute together!

Sunday, Sunday....

So, I have had two AWESOME weekends! Last weekend was Kendalls wedding. I can't wait to post images from her wedding! It was a wonderful day and she was so sweet despite a few kinks. I love it when a bride can just sit back and enjoy the day! This weekend was outstanding as well. I came out feeling fabulous and it was my first double wedding. Friday's wedding was Liz and Matt and yesterday was Monique and Andys. The weather was absolutely perfect this weekend wasn't it?!

Two weeks ago Tracey and Eric got married. I had the privilege of having EJ and Janet with me and on Sunday I worked with them...That was a trial for this weekend. :) Anyway here are a few, well a lot of images from their wedding.....

This picture has a cute story behind it....EJ came up to me and said he had taken a picture of me. So for those of you who haven't met me yet......

Ok so on to one of my favorite details to photograph.... that's right....SHOES!!!

While Janet and I were outside doing formals with Tracey and the bridal party EJ was shooting through a window in the chapel.

This is my perspective...

And this is Janet's....

We had some time before the ceremony and got a few images that we normally would not be able to get.

The light for the formals was phenomenal!

Ej, Janet and I are now offering a three photographer package if you are interested email me for more information.
