Happy New Year!!

I am so excited about next year. With 28 weddings already booked I have to say the year is looking awesome! I have fantastic couples at fantastic venues and yes one destination wedding! This year has also been amazing. I am so thankful for my friends and family and how supportive they are all!

I do have one (only one) goal for this year. It's a big one so that's why there's only one...

The goal is to lead a green life and run a green business and to be super healthy (eat organic and home cooked meals from scratch.) Wait, is that two goals? Oh well. I have two goals. The good news is I have already started to live this way (recycling etc) so this year I am just going to kick it up!

I hope you all have a awesome year!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Ahh... Christmas is almost here. YAY!! I have soooo much to post about super cool formals, engagement sessions, and details... oh my! But those will have to wait for now....

This is post is a sneak peak for Stephanie and Jackson. Their wedding was at The Georgia Club and it was fabulous!

I'll start with Jackson. This is a first...(posting about the groom, that is.) I love this shot. My second shooter Steve said Jackson was all smiles while they were getting ready. And as I was going through the photos he was indeed happy in every photo! And people, let me tell you..... that rarely happens!

I love her shoes and veil.

I love these shots of Stephanie.

The ceremony was decorated so beautifully.

And the happy couple...

The Ceremony

More from St. Thomas yay! The first two days we were there it rained in the afternoon. Well, the day of the wedding I told Steve it's going to be sunny and that's that. And sure enough it did NOT rain! The weather was perfect. Here are a few of my fave's from the ceremony.

I loved the moments between Elizabeth and Peter.

These next two are from the water. I freaked Steve out on more than one occasion by shooting in the water but I was very careful!

I know already posted this but I just love this image Steve took!

This one um is just for me although I think people really like it. This is them walking down the sandy isle after they got married. I just love the shadows!

They also totally rock because they gave me an hour and a half formals! Yes, that's right! We went all over Athens, downtown, the stadium, cool old railroad tracks and a super old barn.... ohhhhhh I can't wait to show you!

Don't worry I have lots more to post from Elizabeth and Peters wedding.

Happy December!

So, I am starting the month out right with all my album designs done, (2 matted ones left though) I'm almost caught up on weddings and sessions, and am working on orders. AND we got a Christmas tree yesterday. Yes, in the rain but if you just picture the drizzle as white fluffy snow flakes it was fun and we have the cutest tree ever!

We were debating about whether to get a tree with roots and plant it, or recycle our tree and turn it to mulch. As much as we both don't like plastic trees we did check into it. Steve came across an article that indicated that plastic trees were much more of a waste than we had ever thought. Check out more info from Treehugger

So, are you ready for post 2? Details ah yes details. I'll include the reception details within a reception post.

Shoes! Glorious shoes! lalala sing with me Shoes Glorious shoes!!!

A few ceremony details.

A little fun with the girls....

I thought this is was a cute idea! Steve put their wedding rings on scuba gear.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving and part 1 of 4 or 5

It is going to be a great day I can feel it! The smell and sounds of coffee brewing, the thought of spending time with family and eating gud food!

Okay so maybe everyone might be doing a list of things they are thankful for and yes I'm going to do a short one as well but with a twist.

I AM THANKFUL TO BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I DO!! I am also thankful that Elizabeth and Peter are in my life! This is the first of 4 or 5 posts from St. Thomas.

Day one: Rehearsal and the view from our room. First the view from our room. It was awesome!!!

The rehearsal...

Wait till you see the image I got during the wedding.

The rehearsal dinner was at Herve and HOLY FREAKIN MOLY the food was amazing. The best ever! EVER I SAY!

First they had drinks out on the patio.

This is the fab view from the restaurant the ocean is to the left.

This is the most amazing appetizer I have ever had! Seriously! no Seriously! It is stuffed with portabello mushroom and some kinda yummy sauce and fancy yummy butter.

And a few cute pictures of them.

Amanda and Chad

This is about the fabulous couple that got married in South Carolina. There are so many pictures I would love to show you but alas I cannot. You can go to the client page to see all of them if you wish!

I'll start with a few of the lodge and surrounding area.

Some super great details.... I loved the details on her dress, shoes (they are blue), the "Playbill" (their program), the birdcage veil, and flowers!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! I love these first two images Steve took.

I also really love this moment. It happened when the musician was singing.

Um, so this is turning into a long post and there's a lot more to go... Holy Moly the formals and reception details. So, I'm gonna have to split it up. Why you ask? You just wanna see them all now? Well, what fun would that be? Too be continued..... ahem.
