Rainy Days

What do you like to do on rainy days? I like to listen to Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson (yes I really like him) and a little house (dance music). I know what your thinking.... um that's two different genre. But, ya know that's just the kinda gal I am.

Oh, and I love processing wedding pictures! Which brings me to the post....

Sarah and Tims wedding was at the Houston Mill House and it was an awesome venue!




I took this while sarah was getting dressed.


















The guys actually got ready at the venue so I got to photograph them getting ready...it was way cool! I really like this one of him getting his cufflinks on.







As we were doing the guys formals one of them spotted the liquor cellar and suggested we take pictures in there. Thanks to the best man we got in and got a few shots. It was REALLY small in there!













So, I got all these cool actions (photoshop stuff) and was playing around with one of them and came up with this. LOVE IT!

Angela and Pete

We went to Athens Botanical for their engagement session and it was a beautiful day! Some of favorite pictures were them just hanging out with each other.

I had an engagement session on Sunday and it was awesome! I just wish I could photograph their wedding...They're getting married in Las Vegas baby! Way Fun! They wanted to do save the date pictures and they came out so cute! Meet Ashley and Nick.....

Little ones and their feet

Their were a lot of cute little ones were at Claire and Patricks wedding. As the reception began a few of them were dancing.

















And then one of the girls decided she had enough of her shoes and they HAD to come off!













That's what led to the sleepy girls with dirty feet!

Lazy Sunday

I promised myself that I would relax today and ended up organizing and cleaning!

So, I am taking a break to share some images from Claire and Ryans wedding on the 23rd. The reception was held at Glendalough Manor in Peachtree City and it was gorgeous! Here's a few of my fav's

Tessa and Derek

I have started including engagement sessions in all packages because 1. it really allows us all to get to know one another 2. the couple (by couple I mean the guy) can get past the nervousness of being in front of the camera 3. heck and cause it's just FUN! This is one of those couples where we had a lot of fun and laughed during their engagement session but as soon as I would start taking pictures Derek would stop smiling. I did manage to get some with him smiling! On the wedding day it was completely different he was so at ease and it was like we were all old friends. I even got him to do a few odd poses! WOOHOO!

I'll start with some funny moments while Tessa was getting ready....

When I was taking this photo one of the flower girls said she's taking a picture of your butt! We all started laughing and it was really cute!

One of the flower girls said she had a picture like that on her wall but there was a bunny by the shoes. Then she asked if I took the picture. I had a poster like that when I was little but it was ballerina shoes and a kitten!






















This was during the formals and we were waiting for a bridesmaid to return and I noticed these little fellas chillin' Way cute!






















I had so much fun at their wedding and they are such a great couple!

Erin and Bill

When I first met Erin and Bill it was an instant connection we were laughing and cutting up the whole meeting! As I said before we were going to go to Piedmont but, there was a festival going on so we went to Atlantic Station. We didn't have much time b/c we lost a good bit of time traveling around but, had fun anyway!








































I really liked shooting here...lots of unique spots to take pictures.

Broken promise

Ok, I got caught! I met with a bride recently and she called me out on not posting! :) So, I hear by swear that I will update the blog on regular basis (scouts honor)

So, the move is over and I am starting to unpack..... um, well kind of. It went really well and I can't wait to get the internet up (the cable folks are setting it up on Saturday) YEA!!!! Thanks to all the brides that wished me well on the move!

I have so many pictures I want to post! Theresa and Joeys wedding was on August 26th. They had THE Ramblin' Wrek and I got to ride with them! They are so super nice and the wedding was great! I also had an engagement session this week with Erin and Bill. I can't wait for their wedding they are SO fun! We were suppose to go to Piedmont Park but, there was a festival going on so we decided to go to Atlantic Station got some really different poses.

Tomorrow is Tessa and Dereks wedding at the UGA chapel and I am totally looking forward to it!

It's so great to love my job and get to work with couples and families that are so wonderful! I recently broke my toe at a wedding and the mother of the bride checked up on me a few days later to see if I was ok. Is that not so awesome! Ok, sorry to get so emotional.

Project Runway and Janet

So, I never watched this show until my friend Janet told me about it and now I am so hooked! Don't tell anyone but, I think my boyfriend secretly likes it! He says he tolerates it but, he always watches it with me pretending not to like it. haha

I REALLY want Jeffrey kicked off for his attitude he may be a good designer but, in my book that's not good enough! I loved Uli's dress and I would totally wear it and Michael what can you say about him except he's great and from GA!

This is one of many shows I am now addicted to. I can't wait for LOST, The Office (love the office), and My name is Earl. If you love the office as much as I do you should checkout these clips. They may have a commercial before it plays.

I promise I will update my blog! I was so excited about it and now have neglected it :(

On to another FUN wedding! Now when I say fun I mean fun times 100! I really like Troy and Mandy and knew that when we met up to do engagement pictures it would be a great wedding!























They decided to see each other before the wedding and it was so emotional!

By the way, I highly recommend doing this. It's such an intimate and beautiful moment.























After the ceremony we went to the Arches at the UGA campus and took some pictures the light was perfect! These are some of my favorites.

My best friends wedding was on June 17th It was a fun day and I thought I would share some of my favorite photos.













This is a gift her sister gave her. It's a scroll from Japan that people can sign (kind of like a guest book). I think it's awesome!
